    Basic Features of Sewing Machines
Below we will examine the basic features of the sewing machine.

Bobbin Winder: This is the section where we wind the bobbin thread, which we call the lower thread, on the bobbin.

Flywheel: It is the part that we use to slowly advance the stitch by turning it manually or move the needle up and down.

Operation Panel: Electronic sewing machine consists of buttons and screen that we use to select sewing settings. Instead, there may be dials.

Speed ??Adjustment: It is a button that slides to the left to decrease sewing speed and to the right to increase sewing speed.

Removable tool box: By opening this part forward, small parts such as presser feet and tubes can be placed, cylindrical parts such as cuffs and legs can be sewn much more easily by pulling it to the left.

Presser Foot: Prevents slipping by applying pressure to the fabric during sewing. The right foot must be selected for different stitch types.

Needle: It is the piece that immerses the spool thread, which we call upper thread, into the fabric and creates the stitch. The selection of the needle in the fineness and tip structure according to different fabric thicknesses and types is very important in terms of sewing quality.

Operation buttons: It consists of three buttons.

Needle Position: Used to move the needle to the lower or upper end points. At the end of sewing, the needle remains in the lower position, we press this button and move the needle to the upper position to remove the fabric.

Reverse / Reinforcement Stitch: Each step of this button creates a reverse sewing step. It sews backwards as long as it is held down. In order not to open the seam, 3 steps should be applied at the beginning and at the end.

Sewing-Stop: The machine starts sewing once it is pressed, it stops when the second is pressed. This button does not work when the pedal is attached.

Tension Setting: It is used to adjust the tension of the upper thread coming from the spool. This setting may vary depending on the fabric thickness, thread thickness and sewing type.

Spool Pin: It is the section where the spool we will use in sewing is placed. With the clamping device, the reel should be fixed so that it does not come out of the pin and turns easily.

Pedal: It is the part we control with our foot to start, finish, accelerate-slow down sewing.
